| Mashed grains for 75 mins at 154 ° Sparged with 170 ° water. | ||||||||
| Boil: | 60 minutes | SG 1.056 | 13 gallons | |||||
| Used 2 medium size pie pumkins, cut into cubes and baked at 375 ° for an hour, then added to boil at 30 mins. Added 4 cinnamon sticks to wort at start of boil, and two more at 45 mins into boil. Also added 2 tbl spoons pumpkin spice mix and 1 cup of molassas at 45 mins into boil. | ||||||||

| Yeast: | White Labs WL001, 2 vials pitched into wort. Added yeast nutrient and areated with oxygen. | |||||||
| Log: | Brewed on 9-18, moved to secondary on 9-27 cooled to 45°. Warmed to room temp on 10-8 and bottled on 10-9. | |||||||
| Carbonation: | Corn sugar added to bottling bucket, then bottled. | |||||||
| Tasting: | Beer has good pumpkin and spice flavor, and nice orange color. SG: 1070 FG: 1.016 ABV 7.1% |
