Good Recipe for Negra Modelo CLone. If you want to do a partial mash or extract you can substitute 7.5 lbs oif Amber LME for the Dingemans Pils Malt and steep specialty grains for 30 mintes @ 156.

| Dough in with 168-170 degree water to achieve 156 degree mash. For 8.25lbs I used 2.5 gallons of water. Thicker is better than thin mash. Mash for 45 minutes then mash out with 4-5 gallons of 200 degree sparge water over 30-45 minutes. COllect 6.5 gallons of wort or less if you want thicker beer. |
