A simple, down & dirty American-style beer to drink ice cold with hot Maryland-style steamed crabs.

| Steep: | Place grains in one gallon of cold water; bring just a boil over 30 to 40 minutes. Remove grains just prior to boil. | |||||||
| Boil: | 60 minutes | SG 1.114 | 2 gallons | |||||
| 5 lb. Light dry malt extract | ||||||||
| Add .5 to 1 tsp Irish Moss 15 minutes before end of boil. | ||||||||
| Hops: | 1.25 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 60 min.) 1. oz. Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 15 min.) 1 oz. Saaz (aroma)  |
