Grain: 8 oz. American crystal 20L
4 oz. Roasted barley
8 oz. peated malt
Steep: brought to slow boil,simmered for 30 min,grains removed
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.127 3 gallons
10 lb. Light malt extract
1tsp irish moss for the last 5 min
Hops: 2 oz. Kent Goldings (6.1% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Kent Goldings (6.1% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: danstar nottingham ale yeast
Log: in the fermentor for 2 weeks,dried malt boiled with 1 pint water added to bottling bucket before transfer, let the wort do the work.
Carbonation: 1.7 volumes Dried Malt Extract: 4.28 oz. for 5 gallons @ 75F
