What, a German Ale??! This Dusseldorf style Alt Ale was inspired by the book "Altbier" written by Horst Dornbusch. This recipe follows the Dusseldorf style, with a Northwest twist.

| Carbonation: | Forced carbonation, 12 - 15 lbs CO2, and then served with 10 lb CO2 | |||||||
| Tasting: | OG high for the style, but I am counting on lower potential from the grain that I will actually use (based on experience). This should also lower the alcohol to desired range of 4.8%. | |||||||
