| Tasting: | Darker, more bitter and roastier than Anchor and also not as "lager-like" smooth (well that's what you get using ale yeast). The hops seemed much more earthy than other N. Brewer beers I've tried - thinking that my LHBS may have had hop packet mislabelled. Still, a very nice beer and worthy of a redo with only change maybe using the San Fransisco Lager yeast. | |||||||
