| Steep: | Steep grains for 30 minutes at 150° to 160°. Sparge. | |||||||
| Boil: | 60 minutes | SG 1.055 | 2.5 gallons | |||||
| 2 lb. Amber malt extract 1 lb. Light dry malt extract | ||||||||
| Irish moss if you want. 4 oz Lactose. | ||||||||
| Hops: | 1.5 oz. Fuggles (4% AA, 60 min.) .5 oz. Fuggles (4% AA, 15 min.) 1 oz. Fuggles (aroma) | |||||||
| Yeast: | Added two gallons of cold water to a recently racked carboy that contained a stout fermented with Wyeast London ale yeast. | |||||||
| Log: | Dry hop in secondary if needed. | |||||||
| Carbonation: | The nutrients from the yeast are an essential part of this beverage. Bottle condition is a must. | |||||||
