| Steep: | Steep grains @ 150° F. for approximately 1/2 hour. | |||||||
| Boil: | 60 minutes | SG 1.134 | 2 gallons | |||||
| 7.0 lb. Light wheat malt extract | ||||||||
| Add LME after grains have been steeped for 1/2 hour. Add 1 oz. German Spalt. Boil 55 minutes. Add Kent Golding in last 5 minutes of boil. | ||||||||
| Hops: | 1.0 oz. German Spalt (6.8% AA, 60 min.) 1.0 oz. Kent Goldings (5.4% AA, 5 min.) |

| Yeast: | Add Safale 04 sprinkled on top of cooled wort (below 75°F). Actual @ 65° F. | |||||||
| Log: | Ferment for 7-10 days in primary. Rack to secondary for another 7-10 days. | |||||||
| Carbonation: | Kegged. Allow to carbonate at 20 psi for at least 3 days. Serve at 6-8 psi. | |||||||
| Tasting: | Beer was great. Darker in color but very light in taste. Will not change anything but will definitely make this one again. | |||||||
