| Steep: | Place milled grains in a nylon steeping bag and shake to remove flour. Add to 2 gallons of cool water and bring to 155°F. Hold for 30 minutes. Remove bag and squeeze back into the kettle. | |||||||
| Boil: | 60 minutes | SG 1.137 | 2 gallons | |||||

| Hops: | 1 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 60 min.) .5 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 30 min.) .5 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 15 min.) |

| Yeast: | WLP009, no starter. | |||||||
| Log: | Leave in primary fermentation until krausen subsides. Rack to secondary and leave for 7 days. Bottle and age 14 days. | |||||||
| Carbonation: | Cooper's Carbonation drops. | |||||||
| Tasting: | Medium bodied. Sweet, toasted malt taste with a little diacetyl. Not unpleasent. More aged samples exhibit deep fruity esters. | |||||||
