Spring '06 Club APA
This is my version of The Brew Hut Spring '06 recipe. We are all using base malt plus 1 other grain/adjunct of our choice, Mt Hood hops in amounts and times of our choice, and East Coast Ale yeast. I wanted a plae ale, and also wanted to play around with toasting my own grain. Others are using guidlines and making weisen, alt, munich, etc.

| Log: | Toasting some of the 2-row and some of the crystal to different degrees at home, in my oven. This will not be duplicatable exactly, since I don't have a scale to measure exact amounts, nor will I keep exact track of toasting temps/times. Just gonna wing it. This will also affect color, and it will come out darker than what is shown above. | |||||||
| Carbonation: | 3/4 cup corn sugar for priming | |||||||
| Tasting: | Brewing next weekend, will try and update once it's finished. | |||||||
