Memorial Pale Ale
This is a great beginner recipe. It produces a lightly hopped ale, perfect to satisfy all those BudMillorCoors drinkers. Great beer to start the beginning of the summer with.

| Steep: | I steeped the crystal in a grain bag just until the water raises to a biol. When it begins to boil, remove crystal and add Malt extract. | |||||||
| Boil: | 60 minutes | SG 1.121 | 2.25 gallons | |||||
| 7 lb. Light malt extract | ||||||||
| Hops: | 1.5 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.) .5 oz. Cascade (aroma) |

| Yeast: | Nottingham-no starter, no rehydration, just cool wort to 80° and pitch yeast. | |||||||
| Log: | 4 days primary, 9 days secondary | |||||||
| Carbonation: | I batch primed from a bottling bucket with 3/4c of priming sugar (corn sugar) and bottled | |||||||
