| Dough in and temp stablized around 55 C°. Pull 1st decocotion (about 1/3 of the total mash vol) Heat decoction slowly to a boil and proceed boiling for 30 min. Return to mash temp stablized at around 65C°. Pull 2nd decoction (about 15% of mash) bring to a boil and then thrown back in to the mash. Temp stablized around 75C°. Mash took about 3 hours total. Recirculate mash till it runs clear and start collection. The 2 decoctions definitely added some more color to the beer | ||||||||
