| Steep: | Bring water to 155 deg. then add barley and remove from heat. Cover and let steep 20 minutes. | |||||||
| Boil: | 60 minutes | SG 1.123 | 2.5 gallons | |||||
| 3.3 lb. Light malt extract (Mutons) 4 lb. Light dry malt extract (Movarian) |

| One tsp. of Irish Moss added in last 5 minutes of boil. | ||||||||
| Hops: | 1 oz. Amarillo (8.9% AA, 60 min.) 1 oz. Amarillo (8.9% AA, 30 min.) |

| Yeast: | Superior dry lager yeast added directly to wort, right out of the package (no starter). Make sure wort is between 70 and 80 deg. | |||||||
| Log: | Primary fermentor for 10 days, glass carboy for 4 weeks - preferrably stored at 36 to 40 deg. | |||||||
