Steamboat IPA
I am brewing this for a ski trip to Steamboat Springs in Feb 2009. My original IPA (Angus IPA) just didn't hit the mark. A good beer, but not quite perfect. I'm mixing up my ingredients a bit on this one.

| Water: | Use tap water set out overnight or at least for a few hours to let the chlorine dissapate a bit. I usually add 1/4 tsp gypsum pre-boil. | |||||||
| Grain: | 8 oz. American 2-row 8 oz. American victory 8 oz. American crystal 60L |

| Steep: | Grains are put in a grain bag and set in about a gallon of 145° and put in oven to keep temp. Another gallon of water is put in oven as well to use for sparge. After an hour the bag is put in a collander over the brew pot and I sparge slowly with other gallon. | |||||||
