| Steep: | Steeped grain in nylon hose for 30 minutes, at 150 degrees. | |||||||

| 4.1 lb. Light dry malt extract | ||||||||
| Added hops at 50 minutes. This keeps the protein from coating them and inhibiting utilization. | ||||||||
| Hops: | 1. oz. Chinook (12% AA, 50 min.) | |||||||
| Yeast: | Lallemand Windsor dry yeast. | |||||||
| Log: | Rehydrated yeast and fermented in bucket 12 days. Racked and bottle-conditioned a full two weeks. | |||||||
| Tasting: | Aroma-roasted notes and sweet. Taste-Nicely roasted and smooth. The hops flavor was perfect with the bitterness of the grains leading the way.It finishes with a crisp, roasted and slightly chocolate flavor. As complex and tender as three simultaneous kisses. | |||||||
