Honeymoon Irish Ale (Smithwick's Clone)
This is a "Smithwick's Clone", a popular Irish
ale that is not imported to the US. 
It turned out dark, mild, rich, and smooth.  From

| 6 lb. Light malt extract 5 oz. Corn sugar | ||||||||
| Hops: | 1.5 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 60 min.) .5 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 15 min.) | |||||||
| Yeast: | Wyeast Irish Ale (tube). No starter (but will next time). | |||||||

| Tasting: | Will do the following next time (reflective of our more seasoned brewing procedures):  Two-stage fermentation, yeast starter, 7.5 lbs extract, 6 oz malted barley (instead of 4), will calculate priming sugar for 2.2 volumes of CO2. | |||||||
