Steep: Steep grains for 20 minutes @ 155 F.
Boil: 45 minutes SG 1.083 2 gallons
1.61kg Light malt extract
0.27kg Belgian candi sugar (Dark)
Add extract and candy when temperature reaches 185F and sustain a rolling boil for 2-3 minutes.
1/8 tsp Grains of Paradise, and 1/2 tsp Irish Moss when 1st bowl of Hallertau is added.
1/8 tsp. Grains of Paradise when 2nd bowl of Hallertau is added.
Hops: 13g Northern Brewer (8% AA, 45 min.)
7g Hallertauer Hersbrucker (1.5% AA, 15 min.)
4g Hallertauer Hersbrucker (1.5% AA, 5 min.)
