Raspberry Wheat

This is my first attempt at a wheat beer like everyone
else for the women in my life.

Type: Extract Size: 5 gallons
Color:
3 HCU (~3 SRM)
Bitterness: 9 IBU
OG: 1.049 FG: 1.010
Alcohol: 5.0% v/v (3.9% w/w)
Water: 4 Gals of bottled Spring water, one pint of bottled
spring water and a 7lb bag of ice, to give you a
total of 5 gals after you are done.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.081 3 gallons
6.6 lb. Wheat extract
Boil 3 Gals of the spring water, 6.6 lbs of liquid
wheat extracts, and at 15 mins in add bittering
hops, after boiling to speed up the time it takes
to cool your wort, add in this order, the bag of
ice, pint of water and the last gallon of water to
your fermenter bucket. Then strain in your wort,
this should cool it to between about 70 and 90°
Hops: .5 oz. Northern Brewer (6.8% AA, 45 min.)
.5 oz. Northern Brewer (aroma)
Yeast: California Ale liquid pitchable yeast.
