This is a (slight) modification of a recipe from my LHBS, www.mdhb.com.

Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5 gallons
Color:
8 HCU (~6 SRM)
Bitterness: 11 IBU
OG: 1.056 FG: 1.018
Alcohol: 4.9% v/v (3.8% w/w)
Water: .5 tsp Irish Moss. No clue about water quality. Just boiled tap.
Grain: 8 oz. Wheat malt
8 oz. American crystal 20L
8 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Steep: Steep at 155° F for 30 minutes in one gallon of water.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.139 2 gallons
3 lb. Light dry malt extract
3 lb. 5 oz. Wheat extract
.5 tsp Irish Moss.
Hops: 1 oz. Hallertauer (4.4% AA, 40 min.)
1 oz. Tettnanger (4.9% AA, 20 min.)
Yeast: Reserved out 3/4c of DME to make a one quart starter. Used White Labs California Ale Yeast.
