Grain: 19 lb. Belgian Pilsner
8 oz. Wheat malt
2 lb. German Munich
1 lb. Belgian aromatic
8 oz. Belgian CaraMunich
1 oz. Belgian Special B
Mash: 9.5% efficiency
See The Real Bush... this recipe used last runnings (2 gallons) plus malt extract.
Boil: 75 minutes SG 1.058 3.5 gallons
3.3 lb. Wheat extract
First wort hop the cascade and willamette
(put in 2 gallons of run off from mash and leave until boil is complete)
Add extract after boil starts
Hops: 1.5 oz. Cascade FWH (5.5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Willamette FWH (4.5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: 2 packages of Nottingham (should be very dry)
Ferment at 66F
Carbonation: 2.8 volumes Corn Sugar: 4.75 oz. for 4.5 gallons @ 70°F
