Blewberry Buttscrew

At the time of bottling or in secondary, added 2 oz. of blueberry flavoring.

Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5 gallons
Color:
9 HCU (~7 SRM)
Bitterness: 24 IBU
OG: 1.058 FG: 1.010
Alcohol: 6.2% v/v (4.9% w/w)
Water: filtered water.
Grain: 12 oz. American 2-row
Steep: Steeped grains at 155° -160° for 30 minutes.
Boil: 70 minutes SG 1.121 2.4 gallons
7 lb. Light malt extract
7 oz. Cane sugar
Added irish moss with 20 minutes left in boil.
Hops: .50 oz. Nugget (15% AA, 45 min.)
Yeast: Saf04 dry yeast. Also added 1 crushed Beano tablet before pitching yeast.
Log: Fermented at 65-70 for 7 days and secondary for 7 days.
Carbonation: kegged as usual.
Tasting: may have needed a little more blueberry flavor or tried a combination of real blueberries in conjunction with extract. Not too bad for first go at it.
