Fox Stone

This was a very good pale ale. I used another ounce of Cascade for dry
hopping. The IBU's are still a little low for the style. I am going
to enter this beer into a competition, so you know it can't be that
bad. If I win, I will be sure to post something.

17 HCU (~10 SRM)
Bitterness: 14 IBU
OG: 1.067 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 7.1% v/v (5.6% w/w)
Grain: .5 lb. American Munich
.5 lb. American crystal 40L
.5 lb. Belgian CaraVienne
Steep: Steep all grains before boil:
@ 150F for 30 min
@ 158F for 15 min
@ 168F for 3 or 4 min
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.168 2 gallons
8 lb. Light malt extract
1 tsp @ 15 min left in boil
Hops: 1 oz. Centennial (10.5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast 1056 American Ale (starter used)
Log: Primary - 7 days
Secondary - 14 days - dry hop 1 oz. Cascade
