500g American victory
Mash: 75% efficiency
Mash in 68c 60 min. Mash out 75c.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.047 15 gallons
300g Amber dry malt extract
6 pills of carraghenine
Hops: .5 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.)
.8 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 40 min.)
1 oz. Liberty (4% AA, 10 min.)
Yeast: Wyeast European ale, a 4 litres starter.
Carbonation: 2.5 volume
Tasting: Rack to secondary on 27/04/2001. Malty for a blond and a little toasty. Seems to have a nice balanced bitterness, which is hard to get when you do a blond beer. Will update when kegging.
