Grain: 10 lb. Maris Otter
.5 lb. Crisp British amber
1 lb. Breiss American crystal 20L
.25 lb. Belgian Special B
Mash: 73% efficiency
Single step infusion 150°F for 60 minutes
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.049 6.5 gallons
1 tsp Irish moss and 1 tsp Yeast nutrient were added with 15 minutes remaining in boil.
Hops: .5 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Mt. Hood (4.5% AA, 20 min.)
.5 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 5 min.)
1 oz. Willamette (aroma)
Yeast: 1/2 gallon 1084 Irish Ale yeast starter
Carbonation: 2.5 volumes Corn Sugar: 4.47 oz. for 5 gallons @ 70°F
Tasting: All grain version to be brewed on Feb 10, 2007. Will update after she's ready
