Independence Honey Ale

Well, it's getting near the 4th of July and I fell the need to make a good, kinda strong, Amber with some Honey in it.

Brewer: MacDuff Email: -
Beer: Independence Honey Ale Style: American Amber Ale
Type: All grain Size: 5 gallons
Color:
13 HCU (~9 SRM)
Bitterness: 36 IBU
OG: 1.056 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 5.7% v/v (4.5% w/w)
Water: None
Grain: 8 lb. American 2-row
1 lb. American Vienna
12 oz. Belgian biscuit
12 oz. American crystal 40L
8 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Mash: 60% efficiency
Mashing at 156° for 90min.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.043 6.5 gallons
1 lb. Honey
No additives this time.
Hops: 2 oz. Willamette (4.5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Mt. Hood (4.5% AA, 10 min.)
Yeast: Using Wyeast 1056 American Ale
Log: Gonna shoot for a 62° Primary and a 50° secondary for 2 weeks.
Carbonation: 3/4 cup priming sugar for my bottles.
Tasting: Yet to taste, but I imagine a little less malt and a little more honey might be in order.
