16 HCU (~10 SRM)
Bitterness: 25 IBU
OG: 1.052 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 5.1% v/v (4.0% w/w)
Water: Tap, treated with FiveStar 5.2 and crushed campdem tablets.
Grain: 17 lb. base malt
2 lb. British amber
1 lb. British crystal 50-60L
1 lb. Torrified wheat
Mash: 70% efficiency
Mash in at 152 and hold for 60 minutes. Raise to 170 for 10 minutes for mashout.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.047 11.5 gallons
irish moss with 15 minutes left
Hops: 1 oz. Challenger (8.5% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Saaz (3.75% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Saaz (3.75% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. Saaz (aroma)
Yeast: Rehydrated Danstar Nottingham
