Steep: Steep grains until boil.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.098 3.0 gallons
7.0 lb. Light malt extract
Hops: 1.0 oz. Cascade (5.8% AA, 60 min.)
.75 oz. Willamette (4.8% AA, 60 min.)
1.0 oz. Cascade (5.8% AA, 30 min.)
.75 oz. Willamette (4.8% AA, 5 min.)
Yeast: American #1056

11/6/01 Bottled
Single fermentation of 11 days.
Carbonation: 2.9 volumes Corn Sugar: 4.99 oz. for 4.5 gallons @ 70°F
Tasting: This was my first go at an Amber. This is a deeply red, full mouthfeel amber, with a wonderful chocolate finish. Smooth, creamy, and wonderful.
