Steep the grains for 45 mins. at 150 degrees.
Boil Perle hops for 60 mins.
1 oz Cascade for 10 mins.
1 oz Cascade for 5 mins.
Little Irish Moss or
(Your favorite clearing agent)
White labs British Ale Yeast

Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5.2 gallons
Color:
20 HCU (~12 SRM)
Bitterness: 28 IBU
OG: 1.046 FG: 1.010
Alcohol: 4.6% v/v (3.6% w/w)
Water: Reverse Osmosis with gypsum
Grain: 1 lb. American crystal 60L
Steep: Steep 30 mins at 150°
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.109 2.2 gallons
5 lb. Light malt extract
1 lb. Amber malt extract
Irish Moss at your descression
Hops: 2 oz. Perle (8% AA, 60 min.)
2 oz. Cascade (aroma)
Yeast: White Labs British Ale Yeast
Carbonation: In the Keg at 7 lbs. for 5 days
Tasting: It is fairly light for a red, full in flavor but not too thick, floral
but not overly bitter, damn easy to make, damn easy to drink, good every time.
