Bitterness: 18 IBU
OG: 1.054 FG: 1.010
Alcohol: 5.7% v/v (4.4% w/w)
Water: up to 1 Tbsp Gypsum
Grain: 0.5 lb. American crystal 10L
0.25 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
0.5 lb. German Pilsner
Steep: Add grain to 2 gal water and bring to 160°. Turn of heat.
Steep 30 minutes. Remove grain bag after draining.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.118 2.5 gallons
3.3 lb. Extra Light malt extract
8 oz. Honey
3 lb. Extra Light dry malt extract
Add a TSP Irish Moss with 15 min boil remaining
Hops: 1 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 60 min.)
0.75 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Saaz (3.75% AA, 30 min.)
0.25 oz. Hallertauer (aroma)
Yeast: Yeast 1056
Log: ferments a week, secondary a week
Carbonation: 3/4 cup corn sugar
