15 HCU (~10 SRM)
Bitterness: 25 IBU
OG: 1.047 FG: 1.011
Alcohol: 4.7% v/v (3.7% w/w)
Water: 2 teaspoons gypsum
Grain: 1 lb. American crystal 40L
Steep: Grains placed in nylon bag and water brought up to 150F and held for 30 minutes. Grains removed (fed to the chickens which get soooo excited on brewing day)
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.043 5.5 gallons
6 lb. Light malt extract
1/2 teaspoon Irish Moss
Hops: 1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.)
0.5 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 15 min.)
0.5 oz. Cascade (aroma)
Yeast: Windsor ale dry yeast
