Steep: Steep grains in grain bag in boiling pot, 1 1/2 gallons water at 156° F for 20-30 minutes
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.103 2.5 gallons
6 lb. 8 oz. Light malt extract
Add Irish Moss in the last 15 minutes for clarity
Hops: 1.99 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.)
0.66 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 30 min.)
0.66 oz. Mt. Hood (4.5% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. Mt. Hood (aroma)
Yeast: WYeast 1056
Ask brew house for type of yeast to produce Sprecher Special Amber
Carbonation: 2.7 volumes Dried Malt Extract: 8.39 oz. for 5 gallons @ 66°F
