Alcohol: 5.3% v/v (4.2% w/w)
Water: Tulsa, OK Tap Water (Mohawk Treatment Plant)
Grain: 10 lb. American 2-row
.5 lb. American crystal 10L
Mash: 70% efficiency
155°F for 60 minutes 1 gal/# of grain...batch sparge....
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.039 7 gallons
1 tsp Irish Moss @ 15 Min. before flameout
Hops: .6 oz. Cascade (5.5% AA, 60 min.)
.25 oz. Cascade (5.5% AA, 15 min.)
.25 oz. Cascade (aroma)
Yeast: Danstar Nottingham 11g
Log: Fermentation temperature about 65°F. Primary for 1-2 weeks, Secondary for 2-3 weeks.
Carbonation: 3.0 volumes Keg: 16.5 psi @ 38°F
Tasting: A good, easy drinking summer session beer. Malty, crisp and refreshing. Mouthfeel and taste seem to be slightly "bigger" than the final gravity suggests. Excellent head retention. Hazy, bright yellow color. Brewpub quality.
