single infusion mash with stepped sparge
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.036 12 gallons
36 oz. Honey
wirlfroc added at last 5min of boil
one tab. per 5 gal.
Hops: 1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Saaz (3.75% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: home grown california ale yeast #wlpoo1
two quarts per five gal.
Carbonation: 2.5 volumes Keg: 25.9 psi @ 65°F
primed in kegs with honey and flavoring extracts
6oz of honey and one 4oz flavoring per 5ga.corny
Tasting: sooth, noticable honey notes
