Brewed to replicate New Belgium's Fat Tire for my friends but I took the liberty to give my beer a little more flavor.

Mash: 77% efficiency
Infusion
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.046 6.5 gallons
4 oz. Light malt extract
Hops: 1.2 oz. Mt. Hood (4% AA, 60 min.)
.125 oz. Cascade (5% AA, 30 min.)
.4 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 30 min.)
.125 oz. Cascade (5% AA, 15 min.)
.4 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Wyeast 1056 American with 1 qt starter
Log: 1 week primary/ 1 week secondary
Tasting: Very well balanced. Tastes similar to the Fat Tire but with more flavor and complexity, a little richer and a little darker.
