Brimley's Best Oatmeal Stout

Second refinement of this recipe. This one turned out perfect! I decided to name it after Wilford Brimley (Quaker Oats Commercial) since I used Old Fashion Quaker Oats. Oh.... how creamy!

0 lb. 10 oz. American chocolate
0 lb. 4 oz. American black patent
0 lb. 6 oz. Roasted barley
2 lb. 2 oz. Rolled oats
Mash: 76% efficiency

Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.060 5.5 gallons
1 oz goldings - 90 mins
.5 oz goldings - 60 mins
1 oz willamette - 15 mins
Hops: 1 oz. Kent Goldings (5.1% AA, 90 min.)
.5 oz. Kent Goldings (5.1% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Willamette (3.9% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: White Labs Burton in a starter of about 800 mL
Log: ferment 2 weeks (transfer after 1). ~ 70 F
Carbonation: 3/4 cup corn sugar/5 gals
Tasting: Tasted after a couple of weeks.... awesome! Better than Samuel Smiths (my previous fav). I am going to age this a few more months to see the affects of aging.
