12 oz. British chocolate
8 oz. Roasted barley
1 lb. Flaked oats
Steep: Steep grains for 30 minutes. When strained, it looked and flowed like oil

4 lb. Light malt extract
3 lb. Light dry malt extract
Recipe called for 2 oz hops @ 4.5 AA, i used leftovers i had already
Hops: .68 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 60 min.)
.68 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 60 min.)
.6 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 60 min.)
Yeast: Used dry yeast, rehydrated for 15 minutes in 105 F H2O
Log: Checked on it the second day, and lid had blown off and foaming over the top. So, i obviously attached a blowoff tube and spent some time cleaning up the mess. A lesson on pitching the yeast at too high of temp.
