Color:
99 HCU (~35 SRM)
Bitterness: 65 IBU
OG: 1.075 FG: 1.015
Alcohol: 7.7% v/v (6.1% w/w)
Water: Boil all brewing water.
Grain: 1480g British pale
480g British amber
200g British black patent
Steep: Steep grains in 2 gallons of water @65°C for 45 mins.
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.075 2.5 Imp. gal.
1520g Light malt extract
320g Cane sugar
Hops: 32g Fuggles (4.5% AA, 90 min.)
40g Kent Goldings (5% AA, 90 min.)
15g Fuggles (4.5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Coopers ale yeast.
Log: Ale casked for 3 months before bottling.
