This is my annual winter stout that I use as a nice supper beer.
I also use HerfnStout in my BlackNTans with my winter pale ales.
This beer is also great with the similar aromas and flavors of a good
cigar session.

Bitterness: 42 IBU
OG: 1.048 FG: 1.011
Alcohol: 4.8% v/v (3.8% w/w)
Grain: 11 lb. British pale
1 lb. Belgian biscuit
.5 lb. British black patent
1.5 lb. Roasted barley
1 lb. Flaked oats
2 lb. Flaked wheat
.5 lb. British chocolate
Mash: 85% efficiency
150 degrees for 90 min.
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.041 13 gallons
Irish Moss at 20 min.
Hops: 2 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 60 min.)
.25 oz. Columbus (14.5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 45 min.)
Yeast: Wyeast 1084
Carbonation: 1.8 volumes Keg: 4.7 psi @ 40°F
