Sweet Charity Stout

Another great recipe based on a Papizan recipe from "Joy of Homebrewing."
While trying to get a dry stout, mine always ends up a bit
sweeter than I had orginally hoped for, yet still very tasty.

Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5 gallons
Color:
177 HCU
Bitterness: 51 IBU
OG: 1.069 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 7.3% v/v (5.8% w/w)
Water: 2 T gypsum
Grain: .5 lb. American crystal 40L
.5 lb. American black patent
.35 lb. Roasted barley
Steep: 20 min at 150°F
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.115 3 gallons
4 lb. Dark malt extract
4 lb. Dark dry malt extract
Hops: 2 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Fuggles (aroma)
Yeast: Muntons dry ale. (didn't have the planning or foresight for liquid yeast)
Carbonation: 5 oz. DME
