All-grain version of our extract stout.

OG: 1.058 FG: 1.016
Alcohol: 5.4% v/v (4.2% w/w)
Grain: 8 oz. Flaked Barley
8 oz. Black Patent
1 lb. Roasted Barley
10 lb. British Pale Ale
Mash: 82% efficiency
Mash in at 154°. &0 min mash. Mash out at 174°.
Boil: 70 min minutes SG 1.046 7.5 gallons
Hops: 1.5 oz. Northern Brewer (8% AA, 60 min.)
Yeast: Made starter of Wyeast 1318 stepped up from bottle of previous batch to one quart.
Log: Brewed on 7/11. Fermented at 70°. Racked to secondary on 7/16. Bottled on 7/29.
Carbonation: 3/4 cup corn sugar.
Tasting: Ready to drink in early August. Nice chocolate notes. Malty and full, with good roasted grain taste. Good head. Excellant stout. Will brew again.
