Alcohol: 4.5% v/v (3.5% w/w)
Grain: 1 lb. American crystal 10L
1 lb. American chocolate
8 oz. Flaked barley
1 lb. Flaked corn
Mash: 80% efficiency
add malts corn braley to cold water bring to 150 for 30 min raise to
170 for 15 min. filter and sparge into boiling pot
Boil: 1hr 10 min minutes SG 1.074 3 gallons
3 lb. Light malt extract
6 oz. Honey
1tsp irish moss,last 5 min of boil.end of boil 1/8 tsp yeast nutritant
and 1 tbl spoon of geletan
Hops: 1/8 oz. Galena (13% AA, 60 min.)
1/2 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 45 min.)
1/2 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 45 min.)
1/2 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 30 min.)
1/2 oz. Kent Goldings (aroma)
Yeast: dry lager
Log: 10 days primary. 6 days secondary
Carbonation: 2.5 volumes Corn Sugar: 4.63 oz. for 5 gallons @ 75°F
Tasting: strange as this sounds one of the best ive made and cleand out the leftovers.cant wait to acumulate more dosent really fit porter taste
