Chocoffee

This is the first recipe I made up on my own.

Beer: Chocoffee Style: Robust Porter
Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5 gallons
Color:
146 HCU (~45 SRM)
Bitterness: 8 IBU
OG: 1.049 FG: 1.010
Alcohol: 5.1% v/v (4.0% w/w)
Grain: 1 lb. British chocolate
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.165 1.5 gallons
2 lb. Brown sugar
3 lb. 3 oz. Dark dry malt extract
I added 1 extra pound of brown sugar at about 15 minutes into the boil.
Hops: 1 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 5 min.)
Yeast: After the boil I added bout a half a gallon of cold brewed french roast coffee and 2 oz. of pure vanilla extract.
