Porter Potty

This will be my first Porter style beer. I took attributes from several other recipies on this site

Type: All grain Size: 11 gallons
Color:
69 HCU (~27 SRM)
Bitterness: 27 IBU
OG: 1.056 FG: 1.017
Alcohol: 5.0% v/v (3.9% w/w)
Water: Lake Erie tap water filtered through a carbon filter
Grain: 18 lb. American 2-row
2 lb. Wheat malt
1 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
1 lb. British crystal 95-115L
8 oz. American black patent
4 oz. British chocolate
8 oz. Roasted barley
1 lb. Flaked oats
Mash: 70% efficiency
Will mash at 153° F for 90 minutes, RIMS system will recirculate continuously for final 75 minutes of the mash.
Raise temperature to 168° F for 10 minutes to mashout, and sparge will take about 45 minutes.
Boil: 75 minutes SG 1.044 14 gallons
2 tsp of irish moss added at last 15 minutes of the boil
Hops: 1.5 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 30 min.)
Yeast: 1056 from the local brewery. 7 days in the primary, 7 days in the secondary
Log: Kegged on 11/15.
Carbonation: 2.5 volumes
Tasting: Surprisingly smooth when I kegged. This batch is going to be one of my best. Plan to let it age 2 months before I tap into it.
