Blackberry Porter

This is the base beer. Top up to 2.5 gallons. The extra quart or 2
comes from the berries. Rack over 24-36oz (12 oz per gallon) of
blackberries in secondary and hold for 2-3 weeks. Recommend putting
frozen blackberries into hops bag (boiled hops bag - sanitize
sanitize sanitize!!) The beer is >5% alcohol. You can pasturize the
blackberries (I will) or not...

Wife says it's the best beer I've ever made. I think it's damn good too! Conditioned in bottles for 14 days. This beer if beyond good. The liberty hops go well with the tartness of the the blackberries! Only 12 bottles left...
The text of this recipe contains changes that I will make to improve the beer - a bit of extra malt and extra crystal too.
