THis will be my first attempt at a full grain batch with the help of guys that know what they're doin'...

Type: All grain Size: 5.5 gallons
Color:
59 HCU (~25 SRM)
Bitterness: 23 IBU
OG: 1.059 FG: 1.009
Alcohol: 6.4% v/v (5.0% w/w)
Water: Used 1 qt tap water per gal of distilled water
Grain: 9 lb. British pale
.5 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
.5 lb. American chocolate
.25 lb. American black patent
.5 lb. Flaked barley
1 lb. Raw wheat
Mash: 75% efficiency
Single infusion mash. 11.75 qts water @ 168°F to reach 150°F. Mash for 90 min.
Double batch sparge. First sparge was 2.0 gal @ 180°F. Second was 2.5 gal @ 170°F.
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.059 5.5 gallons
added Irish Moss and Yeast Neutrient at 15 min left in boil.
Hops: 1 oz. Saaz (3.5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Tettnanger (4.9% AA, 45 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (5.5% AA, 30 min.)
Yeast: WLP005 British Ale Yeast
