42 HCU (~19 SRM)
Bitterness: 26 IBU
OG: 1.086 FG: 1.023
Alcohol: 8.1% v/v (6.4% w/w)
Grain: 2 oz. German smoked malt
2 oz. Victory (Biscuit)
6 oz. Crystal 40L
2 oz. Roasted barley
Boil: 75 minutes SG 1.203 1.6875 gallons
5 lb. Pale malt extract syrup
4 lb. Amber malt extract syrup
Hops: 2 oz. Mt. Hood (6% AA, 75 min.)
2 oz. Willamette (5.5% AA, 60 min.)
Yeast: Wyeast #1338 European Ale yeast
Ferment ambient temps 59-62° F.
Log: Cold-condition in secondary for six weeks or more.
Carbonation: Batch prime with 1/2 cup corn sugar or 1 cup dried malt extract.
