42 HCU (~19 SRM)
Bitterness: 29 IBU
OG: 1.078 FG: 1.016
Alcohol: 8.0% v/v (6.2% w/w)
Water: Used Filterred Tap Water.
Grain: 6 oz. American chocolate
1 lb. American crystal 20L
Steep: Added grain and brought to a boil then removed the grain.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.129 3 gallons
10 lb. Light malt extract
Added Irish Moss at 15 minutes left in the boil with the finishing hops
Hops: 2 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 60 min.)
Yeast: Used London Liquid Wyeast
Log: Primary Fermentation lasted one week. Moved to carboy for two week secondary fermentation then kegged
Carbonation: 2.0 volumes Keg: 7.7 psi @ 42°F
Forced Carbonated
Tasting: Tasted best after being in the keg for two months
