Bitterness: 3 IBU
OG: 1.091 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 10.3% v/v (8.0% w/w)
Water: Filtered unless you have good water out of the Tap or Well
Grain: 1.5 lb. American crystal 20L
.5 lb. American crystal 90L
.25 lb. Belgian Special B
1 lb. Belgian Munich
Steep: Normal Steeping Methods...Used grain bag...Then opened a Growler !!

1 Vanilla Bean Split, scraped and thrown in at 5min till end of boil
Boil: 60 + a few minutes SG 1.305 3 gallons
20 lb. Light malt extract
1 lb. Light dry malt extract
32 oz. Honey
1.5 t Irish Moss for 20 min
Hops: 1.50 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.)
0.75 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 40 min.)
0.75 oz. Saaz (3.75% AA, 40 min.)
1.00 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 5 min.)
1.00 oz. Cascade (aroma)
Yeast: White Labs Liquid...California Ale Yeast-001
For fruitier taste use Burtons .........
Log: Primary 3-5 days

Rack to 2........5gal Carabouys for 7 to 9 more days

My O.G. was 1.073
My F.G. was 1.012......so 1.061 is what... 7.9% ?

All Gravities adjusted for temp. + / - a deg

Color is about right though.
Carbonation: Light DME @ 1-1/4 C PER 5gal.......2-1/2 for 10gal. I Haven't tried corn sugar yet......?

Comments or Suggestions Please on anything
Tasting: Tastes pretty balanced to me....? I do like Maltier though...but I'll drink anything twice!

I'm gonna keep experimenting with this one though

Kind of a ~Alaskan Ayinger Mac~ is what I was shooting for....... Not bad for a first Though!
