Nut'N Honey Brown

One more beer to have available when my buddies from Las Vegas come "home" to Pittsburgh, (home of The Super Bowl XL Champion Pittsburgh Steelers), in early July.

Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5 gallons
Color:
41 HCU (~19 SRM)
Bitterness: 35 IBU
OG: 1.058 FG: 1.016
Alcohol: 5.5% v/v (4.3% w/w)
Water: All bottled Pennsylvania Spring Water.
Grain: 8 oz. American crystal 60L
6 oz. American chocolate
1 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Steep: Steeped grains at approximately 150-160°F for 45 minutes.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.049 6 gallons
5 lb. Light dry malt extract
1 lb. Honey
Added 1/4 oz. Irish Moss Powder with 20 minutes left in the boil.
Hops: 1 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 2 min.)
Yeast: 1 vial White Labs East Coast Ale (WLP008)
Carbonation: Will carbonate with 5 oz. Corn Sugar at bottling time.
