Sunday race ale

This one was developed for My Friend Big Joe Sulo. Were Nascar Race fans and I made this to honor my sport.

Type: All grain Size: 7.5 gallons
Color:
19 HCU (~11 SRM)
Bitterness: 15 IBU
OG: 1.043 FG: 1.010
Alcohol: 4.2% v/v (3.3% w/w)
Water: Beachwater from the tap
Grain: 5 lb. American 2-row
4 lb. Wheat malt
2 lb. American crystal 60L
Mash: 70% efficiency
Raceday normal 90 min at 155 sparge with 5 gals at 170 slow sparge.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.040 8 gallons
8 oz. Light malt extract
8 oz. Corn sugar
Irish Moss last 30 mins.
Hops: 1 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 45 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: house slurry, Starter two day prior to brewing.
Log: ferm temps 70 primary, 65 secondary. Keg in 10 days. set pressure high for a couple of days then set to ten PSI.
